Probabilistic simulations are performed by running Monte Carlo simulations, where a selected number of parameters are assigned statistical distributions (PDFs) to account for their uncertainty. Then the model is simulated repeatedly with input parameter values randomly drawn using these distributions.
To run probabilistic simulations, you must define settings for the simulation, such as number of iterations, selection of parameters and definition of parameter correlation.
Assign PDFs to uncertain parameters.
Change the Output option in simulation settings to Produce specified output only.
Select Simulation | Probabilistic from the simulation menu.
