Tutorial 5-Packaging the Sub-systems

3/5

The models are already defined in stand-alone sub-systems, which means that each sub-system can be used as it is or by connecting it to other sub-systems. The problem is that in order to connect them a user must edit the different expressions – which is cumbersome in Ecolego and impossible to do in Ecolego Player.

You will now make sure that the relevant objects are exposed to other sub-systems as model inputs or outputs.

  1. Insert two empty cells into the Agricultural Land sub-system. It is recommended to put one in the upper left corner and the other in the bottom right corner.

  2. In the first cell, add a Model Input block.
